Allyson Felix
Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister within Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix had an early aptitude for sports when she was studying at Los Angeles Baptist High School. She discovered her sprinting potential at the moment. She came second at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in only 10 weeks after her first attempt. Felix, who graduated high school in 2003 signed a sports contract with Adidas. Then she attended the University of Southern California and studied elementary education. The following year, Felix won her first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece setting an all-time junior world record sprinting 200 meters within 22.18 seconds. The 2005 Helsinki World Championships saw her become the youngest woman to take home the 200 meters race. In 2007 she defended this title and beat her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix placed consistently within the top three across her diverse events at the Olympics held at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
