Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore, is a remarkable Hollywood actor and writer Her talents have won her critical acclaim and recognition. Sagittarius. She was born in North Carolina December 3, 1960. She's the oldest of children from Peter Moore Smith a paratrooper as well as Anne who is a psychology student. She's of Scottish-English descent. Her father was a professional and often moved her family. She struggled with making or maintaining friendships. Moore started acting in play as she travelled with her family to Germany. In 1983 she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Boston University. in Theater. Moore was a graduate of college at the time of her graduation in New York and started her acting career off Broadway following her move from New York. Moore first appeared on an episode of The Edge of Night, that aired on TV in 1985. The following year, she took on the dual roles of Frannie and Sabrina Hughes in As the World Turns which became her break. She was on As the World Turns from 1986 until 1988. As a result of her character she won a Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, she began her film debut with Tales from the Darkside: The Movie that she later described as an awful low-budget movie. Short Cuts (1993), 3 Women (1997), and 3 Women (1997) were all produced with Robert Altman. Her performance in the critically-acclaimed short-cuts (1993) earned her several nominations. Moore was offered her first lead role with the film Safe (1995). In 1997, her career as an actress was at a crossroads as Steven Spielberg cast her to star in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which became one of 1997's highest-grossing movies. She received a SAG Awards nomination in Magnolia in 1999. The Hours, a 2002 film that she co-starred in alongside Nicole Kidman and Meryl Strreep received nominations for nine Academy Awards. Moore has also been seen in The Forgotten (2003), Freedomland (2005), Shelter (2010) and many other films. Non-Stop was a film in which that she starred in, was released. Moore has been featured in numerous movies and TV shows. Moore's most recent role as a leading actress is in the film When You Finish saving the World (2022). In Hollywood as well, she has become a published author for kids. Her first novel was published Freckleface Strawberry (2007) and became an N.Y.T. bestseller. The best-selling book was made into a movie, a series and even a musical. Moore also published My Mom is Foreigner in 2013, an autobiography in 2013. Moore being a accomplished author and actor, has made her personal life known to the world. In 1984, she got married to John Robin and in 1995 the couple divorced. They have two children together and a son with Bart Freundlich whom she later was married to in 2003. Moore's career, friends and family are the most important things in her life.
