Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained Minister of the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. As for her mother, Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix's athletic talent was evident right from the day she was enrolled at Los Angeles Baptist High School. A mere 10 weeks after the initial attempt she made her skills, she placed 2nd in the 200m race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was signed to an official career at Adidas in 2003. She after that she enrolled at University of Southern California to study elementary education. The following year, Felix was awarded the first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece setting the world junior record sprinting 200 meters within 22.18 seconds. In 2005, the Helsinki World Championships saw her becoming the youngest female to be crowned the winner of the 200-meter race. In 2007 she defended this title and beat her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix competed at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and was consistently among the top three athletes in each of her events.
