Gugulethu Mbatha (better known as Gugu-Mbatha-Raw) is a British actress and film star who became famous after she appeared in the BBC show "Doctor Who", a British Sci-Fi TV series. Chelsea Joy Handler, born 25 February 1975 at Livingston New Jersey, is the youngest of six children. She was the eldest child from a family of six. Handler grew up with a family comprised of six children. Her mother was employed at home and her father sold used cars. Her mother arrived in America in 1958 after emigrating from Germany. Cancer of the breast was diagnosed in 1989. Her death came a decade after battling cancer. Handler is a Jew of the Reform movement as well as her father who was Jewish. Handler resided in a beautiful area with a great family. As a teenager She moved to Los Angeles, California to explore a career in acting. Handler employed as an actor to help support her family. Handler decided to focus on stand-up comedy when she was 21, after she realized the power of storytelling. Handler's career began as part of the all-female Oxygen television cast on the hidden camera/practical comedy reality show Girls Behaving Unstably. This reality show ran from 2002 until 2005. Handler then started appearing on other TV shows such as Weekends at the D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler was a part of The Tonight Show for a while as a correspondent. Handler got her first major break in the form of hosting her own E! Show in 2006. named The Chelsea Handler Show. The show ran for two seasons. Handler performed at the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States the year after. The stand-up shows she has performed have been aired by VH1, Comedy Central's Premium Blend and HBO. It was announced in 2010 that she will be hosting the MTV Video Music Awards 2010.
